Tennis is a thinking game. You have to evaluate both you and your opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. Then you must use your strengths to exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. You must also employ strategy to prevent your opponent from taking advantage of your weaknesses.
Tennis is like a chess match, except without all those chess pieces that always seem to disappear 🙂
It is imperative that you are continually thinking about what patterns and tactics you can use to defeat your opponent.
